Cambridge Lawn Tennis Club (CLTC) is a members’ tennis club situated in a peaceful part of Cambridge. The Club was voted 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 Cambridgeshire LTA Club of the Year. We are the largest tennis club in the Cambridge area with over 900 members. Despite our size we are a friendly and inclusive club with plenty on offer for everyone, no matter what your age or ability.

CLTC has a thriving social doubles scene where members can turn up knowing they will get a friendly game and it’s not unusual to have over 50 players attending and mixing in. For those who enjoy singles the club provides a singles league which is open to all abilities thanks to the 30+ ability divisions ranging from beginner through to county standard.
We run a wide range of competitions for all abilities, and have the largest number of league teams in the county.
CLTC’s runs it’s own coaching programme and surpluses from the programme are put back into improving the club and local tennis provision. Our first rate professional coaching team run courses all year round for those looking to develop their skills.
Our clubhouse is a welcoming and comfortable environment and has a well stocked Pro Shop, bar, kitchen, showers and changing rooms. At CLTC we are open for play all year round! We have 10 all weather courts (8 with floodlights for evening play) so you can keep playing whatever the weather.

However, life isn’t just about the tennis! CLTC has a thriving social scene, you can always find a friendly face in the clubhouse and we organise regular social events from quiz nights through to salsa lessons and Murder Mystery evenings! The club is a great place to meet old friends and make new ones.
CLTC welcomes children and adults with disabilities to the club. Whether it is coming to social tennis sessions, joining our mini league, playing for a team or having coaching, CLTC will try its utmost to cater for what disabled people would like from an inclusive tennis club. Our Tennis Manager, Teresa Catlin, is available to discuss individual requirements and what CLTC has to offer.
