The CLTC Club Championships starts in May and runs through to a grand finals day in mid September, showcasing the enormously talented players we have at the club. There are senior, open and junior events in both singles, doubles and mixed and is open to any member. We would encourage everyone to “have a go” join in the fun and celebrate being amongst tennis friends either by playing or spectating, with the bonus of the traditional BBQ bonanza to finish the tournament. It’s one of the highlights of the calender year!

The format is a knockout competition, best of 3 short sets (first to 5 games, tie-break to 7 at 4 games all), Championship tie-break to 10 in the 3rd set, designed to fit in a 1.5hr booking slot. Open Ladies and Men’s finals will be normal best of 3 full sets, tie-breaks at 6 games all. Senior 50+ event finals 2 full sets and a Championship tie break third set. Senior and open matches are organised by yourselves. Each round matches have to be played before a deadline date that will be strictly enforced not to hold up further rounds. The junior age groups from 8 to 18yrs of age will be played in a round robin format. Entries are opened early May.
