We have 7 artificial grass courts and 3 hard courts which are in use all year round (and in all weathers).  There's a mini-tennis court for the younger members and during the summer season (April to September) we also have 6 grass courts.  Courts are available for hire to the public at certain times and court fees are £8.00 an hour. To book a court contact info@cambridgeltc.com or call Shirley on 07749 713450.Our recently refurbished clubhouse has changing rooms with hot showers, a low priced licensed bar, a soft drinks machine, table football and a table-tennis table. We have our own resurfaced car park and ample bike racks.

CLTC Public Access Policy

CLTC welcomes non-members to the club. All non-members visiting CLTC are bound by the rules of the club and are expected to follow the club’s codes of conduct outlined in those rules. According to the terms of our licence, only members may purchase drinks at the bar.

Public access to the club is permitted as follows:

  1. Guests
    • Non-members wishing to play tennis may be signed in by members as guests of the club on payment of a day-membership fee
    • Both the member and the guest must sign the visitors’ book and pay before playing
    • For identification, a playing guest should take a ‘visitor’ sticker
    • Members are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their guests
    • A guest may be signed in no more than 3 times in any one club year (Apr – Mar).
    • Guests are entitled to use all the club’s facilities and join in with club social play sessions, but may not play in cup tournaments.

  1. ‘Coachees’

Members of the public are entitled to join in with the full range of the club’s public coaching programmes and to use the club’s facilities when they are being coached. They are also entitled to use the courts, if available, free of charge for 30 minutes immediately following their coaching session. Coaches are responsible for the behaviour and safety of these players.

  1. Competitors

Non-members playing tennis in tournaments or teams at CLTC have automatic guest status and are not required to pay a guest fee or to sign the visitors’ book. Team captains and tournament organisers are responsible for the behaviour and safety of these players.

  1. Spectators

Any member, guest or ‘coachee’ may be accompanied by non-member spectators (e.g. parents of juniors being coached), who are permitted to use the clubhouse, though spectators are not entitled to use the courts.

  1. Court bookers

Courts can normally be booked by the public between 10am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays throughout the year. Two courts are normally available for pay-and-play during these hours, though the needs of the club coaches and members take priority. Courts and coaching may also be block-booked under commercial contracts to local groups and companies at the discretion of the administrator. The following rules apply to all court bookings:

·         court bookings by the public will incur an hourly court fee

·         bookings must be made with the administrator and paid for in full before play

·         those playing under pay-and-play arrangements must wear a visitor sticker

·         court bookers are entitled to use the clubhouse and its facilities, but are not entitled to use club balls

·         whilst bookers may request specific court numbers or surfaces, and every attempt will be made to accommodate their preferences, these cannot be guaranteed.
