After the government announcement that the second lockdown will come to an end, I am happy to announce that we will be reopening the club and courts from Wednesday 2nd December. The Clubhouse will remain closed, but members can access the disabled toilet.
The court booking system is now open for all courts and the hitting wall. I know that many of you are desperate to get back on court, but please show consideration to fellow members and respect the rule that each person is limited to one court booking per day (85 minutes with a 5 minute change over time). Singles and doubles play is permitted but the Rule of 6 applies.
All coaching (groups and private lessons) will resume from Wednesday 2nd December. If you would like to join the evening coaching groups we still have a few spaces. For availability please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Top Spin Tennis will also be reopening next Wednesday and have already launched their %u201CBlack Friday Event%u201D, details of which can be found http://www.cambridgeltc.com/top-spin-tennis/
Please note that the rules regarding hand sanitising, social distancing and not lingering together before and after play still apply. The LTA are updating their player guidance in the next few days, please familiarise yourself with this before playing and a copy will be on our website.
I look forward to seeing you all back on court next week. With your enthusiasm to get going and hit the court running to make up for lost time, a word of caution. Please take a few minutes to warm up physically to help prevent injuries!
