Directions to All Clubs in the League

Bar Hill:  In Bar Hill Village (off A14) behind school next to church/playing field. 

Buckden: Recreation Ground, Burberry Road, off Vineyard Way, near Village Hall. From A1 Roundabout enter High Street, turn right at Lion Hotel into Church Street and then into Mill Road.  After ½ mile turn right into Vineyard Way (signposted to Village Hall). 

Burwell:  Burwell Village College, The Causeway, Burwell. 

Cambridge:  Stacey’s Lane, Wilberforce Road, Turn off Madingley Road (old A45 to St Neots) into Grange Rd take first right into Clarkson Rd, left at end into Wilberforce Rd.  Stacey’s Lane is on the right alongside Emmanuel College Sports Ground.  Clubhouse Tel: 01223 312550. Map ref: TL 435 587 

Clavering:  Past ‘The Cricketers’ turn into Clavering village car park. 

Cocks & Hens:  Turn into Clerk Maxwell Road  which is off Madingley Road (old A45 to St Neots).  close to the de-restriction sign on the left, leaving Cambridge.  Also called CUC & LTC.  The entrance is on the left 50 yards down.  TL 432 591 

Chesterton :  Chesterton  Community College, Gilbert Road, Cambridge.  TL 451 598 

Comberton   NEW! Comberton Village College Sports Centre. The Village College is in West St – the B1046 from Comberton to Toft. 

Cambridge University LTC.  Fenners, Gresham Road, Cambridge. 

Cottenham  At the Community College in Cottenham turn opposite the Green.  The courts are sited at the back of the College, on left hand side. 

Ely Beet Sports and Social Club: Lynn Road, Ely. Take the old A10 into the centre of Ely and turn left onto the Littleport Road. The club is about ½ mile along this road on the left. 

Ely Tennis Club  Ely: Outdoor Sports Association, Downham Road, Ely. Coming from Cambridge stay on the A10 to Downham Market round Ely, straight over the next roundabout at the Little Chef and turn left at the next roundabout and the club is immediately left again. From the Ely bypass (A10) follow signs to Golf Range. 

Exning: Cotton End Rd, Exning, Newmarket, Suffolk. Cotton End Rd starts at the War Memorial in the village. 

Fen Drayton  The Parish Field, behind the Village Hall, Cootes Lane. At the 30mph limit on Fenstanton to Fen Drayton road. 

Foxton: Village Recreation ground, off High Street, Foxton. 

Fulbourn  Fulbourn Recreation Ground, Home End, Fulbourn. 

Girton: Recreation ground, Girton.  Entrance is between church and Girton Glebe Primary School. TL 424  623 

Gransdens  Gransden Sportsfield, Caxton Road, Great Gransden, 

Great Shelford:  Great Shelford Recreation Ground. Coming from Cambridge turn right at traffic lights into Woollards Lane.  The club is on the left behind the village Hall. TL 462 519 

Haslingfield: Recreation Ground at junction of High Street and New Road.  TL 409 522 

Hills Road: Hill Road Sports and Tennis Centre, Purbeck Road, off Hills Road next to 6th Form College. 

Histon  Histon & Impington recreation ground on the B1049.  From Cambridge, turn right immediately after the railway bridge, into New Road — entrance first right.  TL 444 626 

Huntingdon:  Hinchingbrooke School.  Leaving Huntingdon on A604, filter left and pass under main road into the grounds of Hinchingbrooke House. Park in the Lower School Car Park and walk downhill and around pitches to the artificial Grass Courts - flat soled shoes only. 

Longstanton  Recreation Ground, Over Road, Longstanton.  Entering Longstanton from B1050 turn left at the T-junction onto the High Street.  Take the first left (Over Road) and the recreation ground is 200 yds on the left. 

Melbourn  At Melbourn Village College, The Moor, Melbourn. 

Newmarket:  Entering Newmarket from Cambridge on A1304 take first left into Hamilton Road.  Courts are 200 yards on the right. 

Papworth:  The courts are on the Sports/Recreation Ground on the A1198 in the centre of Papworth Everard. From Cambridge take the A428 towards Bedford. At Caxton turn right at roundabout into Papworth Village.  After “stores” on LHS turn right after Pelican crossing into Chequers Lane. Carpark left by “Conservatory”.  Courts behind hedge. 

Peterborough City:  35 Park Crescent, Eastfield, Peterborough.  Turn off A47 to Wisbech opposite the Peterborough Central Park and it is close to the Regional College. 

Peterborough Town Sports Club: Off A47 follow signs to Westwood and Edith Cavell Hospital.  The Club is next to the hospital at the Hockey and Tennis Club. 

Phennards: Pembroke College Sports Grounds, Grantchester Meadows, Cambridge.  Turn into Grantchester Street from the Barton/Newnham Road Corner, continue into Eltiseley Avenue and onto Grantchester Meadows Road to end. 

RAF Brampton:  On the A 141 between the A1 and A14.  Please contact Mark Harding or Jim Hunter in advance with players’ names to authorise entry. 

Risbygate: Westley Road, Bury St Edmunds, off Newmarket Road (old A45).  A petrol filling station is on the corner and the club is about 300 yards on the right. 

Royston: From the Royston bypass (A505), go south on Melbourn Rd (A10). In about 3/4 mile turn left (signposted Meridian School) into Garden Walk. Meridian School is at the bottom of Garden Walk on the left hand side. 

Saffron Walden Grove  East Street, Saffron Walden.  From Cambridge turn left at traffic lights in town centre following one-way system.  Where two-way road starts, bear left and take immediate right into John Dane Player Court.  Clubhouse Tel: 01799 525573  TL 543 384 

Soham: Soham Village College, Soham.  From Newmarket turn left at War Memorial in centre of town, then 2nd left into College Road.  Park at the Ross Peers Sports Centre car park. 

St Neots:  St Anselm Place, St Neots.  A428 from Cambridge, first exit to St Neots under railway bridges.  Over two mini-roundabouts and turn right at first traffic lights, first left into Tebbits Road and at junction straight over into Tan Yard, then to end of St Anselm Place.  TL 182 505 

Stapleford:  Take the A1307 from Cambridge towards Haverhill, turn right at signpost to Stapleford.  Courts are on the recreation ground at edge of village.  TL 478 521 

Thetford:  Kings Street, Kings House, Thetford. 

University Press:  Shaftesbury Rd, Cambridge.  Shaftesbury Rd leads off Brooklands Avenue (by the Government Offices), which joins Hills Road to Trumpington Road.  Turn right after main gates.  Tennis courts are across the playing field.  TL 459 567 

Victory Grounds,Nowton Rd, Bury St Edmunds:  From the A14 take BSE East exit . Tale 3rd exit at first roundabout, straight over next 2 roundabouts and 1st left at fourth to Hawstead.  Courts are approx 400yds on left opposite South Lee School. 

West Row:  West Row playing field in West Row, Suffolk 

Wisbech:  Harecroft Rd, Wisbech. Follow signs for Hudson Sports Centre.
