Another year of fantastic Christmas tournaments, made extra special by the wonderful members of CLTC.
Monday 20th December
The over 50’s mixed doubles Christmas tournament was won by Judy and Simon in a close match against Jo and David. Many congratulations to everyone who took part making it a competitive but enjoyable event.
The ladies doubles was a wonderful display of our talented team players. The mother and daughter team of Judy and Anna were victorious beating Ryuko and Janet. Many congratulations to everyone who took part.
Monday 27th December
The improvers mixed doubles was a fun filled event with Paula & Rob beating newbies Lucy & Yury in the final. Congratulations to everyone who took part with great spirit.
The Ladies team doubles was a Christmas treat for the spectators, who enjoyed some amazing rallies. Congratulations to Hui & Sophie who beat Janet & Judit in a tie break final.
Tuesday 28th December
The Twixmas mixed doubles turned out to be for the brave! A damp start, however it ended with plenty of heat when Anna & Owen defeated Andre & Steve in a close tie break final. Congratulations to everyone who made the morning a memorable occasion.
A well fought contest from the Men in the Twixmas doubles. Congratulations to James and Tenison who out-gunned Alex and Tristan in a high powered tie break final.
