Cambs Doubles Leagues
The LTA Cambridgeshire doubles leagues with Ladies, Men’s and Mixed teams have a long tradition at the club and are very popular with various age groups competing throughout the season. As a result we have many teams in both Summer and Winter Leagues. If you are interested in playing in any of the teams including the Vets (45+) or Super Seniors (60+) then please email info@cambridgeltc.com and the administrators will pass on your details to the Men’s and Ladies captains.
February to early April – Vets Leagues. For Men and Ladies aged 45 years old and over. A team consists of 2 Ladies and 2 Men, and 2 sets of single sex doubles are played followed by 2 sets of Mixed. CLTC currently have 4 teams competing in the Vets Leagues.
Late April to June – Men’s and Ladies Doubles Summer Leagues. Open to all ages, a team of 2 pairs play 2 sets against both pairs.
June to August – Mixed Doubles Summer League. Open to all ages, a team of 2 pairs play 2 sets against both pairs.
May to September – The Gray’s Cup. Men’s and ladies knock out competition for teams in division 3 or lower of the summer mens or ladies league.
May to Nov – Super Seniors League. A team of 4 players 60+ play 3 sets, one with every team member. There are Men’s, Ladies and Mixed events.
Late September to early January – Men’s, Ladies and Mixed Doubles Winter Leagues. Open to all ages, a team of 2 pairs play 2 sets against both pairs.
Men’s Teams
CLTC has 7 men’s teams in the local summer Cambs league and 3 in the winter league. The teams are spread throughout the leagues from divisions 1 to 8 providing opportunities for a wide range of experiences and levels.
Alex Flory is the Men’s captain for the first and second team, he oversees both the team captains and player selections for each team as well as arranging trials and practices. Please contact Alex by email alexjflory@gmail.com if you have further questions.
Ladies Teams
CLTC has 7 ladies teams playing in the Cambs summer doubles league and 3 teams in the winter league. The ladies teams span from division 1 to 7, providing a great range of standards to enable those interested in joining a team a good opportunity to play.

Team Practice & Trials
Team practices and trials are held on a regular basis. Men’s practices are Mondays 6.30-9.30pm, and the Ladies practices are Thursday 6.30-8pm. These are supplemented with pre-season training sessions in Spring run by club coaches.
