The CLTC Club Championships starts in May and runs through to a grand finals day in September, showcasing the enormously talented players there are at the club. There are senior, open and junior events in both singles, doubles and mixed and is open to any member. We would encourage everyone to “have a go” join in the fun and celebrate being amongst tennis friends either by playing or spectating, with the bonus of the traditional BBQ bonanza to finish the tournament. It’s one of the highlights of the calendar year!

The format is a knockout competition, best of 3 sets. If the first two sets reach 6 games all, a tie-break to 7 points is played. A deciding set will be a Championship tie-break to 10 points (by 2 clear points) designed to fit in a 1.5hr booking slot. Senior and Open event matches are organised by the players. Each round matches have to be played before a deadline date that will be strictly enforced not to hold up further rounds. The junior age groups from 10 to 18yrs will play a best of 3 sets, fast 4 format with a deciding championship tie-break to 10. 8U 10 point tie-break, 9U best of 3 tie-breaks to 7.
